Crisis Line
Three core ways you'll make a difference in a fellow veteran's life. (VTC = Veterans Treatment Court — a court-supervised program pairing veterans with peer mentors.)
Meet regularly with your mentee — in person, by phone, or video. Weekly check-ins build trust and accountability.
Attend occasional court hearings as a visible sign of support. Your presence matters to the judge and to your mentee.
You don't need all the answers. Your lived experience as a veteran is the most powerful tool you bring.
A few essentials to be eligible for the mentor program.
Veteran of any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces (including Guard/Reserve)
Stable in your own recovery or wellness journey for 90+ days
Connected to your local veteran community
Able to commit approximately 4–6 hours per month
Willing to complete a background screening
